Pulse Canon "Rapid Fire Mode"

In the Pulse Canon info, it mentions a rapid fire mode. Is this just *click* *click* *click* *click* , or is there an actual mode?
In the case of the first part, would a program that enables you to switch betwen Charge mode (how things currently work) and Rapid Fire mode (it spams click for you, so you don't torture your poor mouse) be considered cheating? I am also considering enabling it to use multiple abilities by pressing one key, would that be a problem?
