Sending A Message "Bug"

First of all, this is less a bug and more of an unintended effect of an ability mixed with a couple of circumstances.
1.) This was my first time playing through the level "Sending A Message" with a Caster hull.
2.) One of the abilities I had was the Caster Veterancy "Charged Caster Core", and one of it's abilities was to shoot at any enemies after getting a charge.
3.) I had played through the level before using a rogue hull, and the scanners revealed me; this means that the Nyrceff are treated as enemies in this battle.
4.) If you injure a Nyrceff, the Talons are called in, which is bad.

To sum it up, I killed a target ship, gained a charge, and, while flying to the next target, crossed paths with a Nyrceff, and Charged Caster Core launched a charge at it.

The good thing is that the Talons don't show up for reasons that should be obvious later on. The bad thing is that the bug still stands.
