..integrating suggestions below, somehow: Smile

1. When you're killed, please state what weapon/ability which the enemy use to kill me.

I mean its not like you're killed all the time, so it's not really a message spam, but I really wanted to know how/why do I explode when I'm just strolling right beside that grappler/caster, and how do I do that as well Very Happy bonus points if you can include the category which I need to research as well!

2. Caretaker (the mission) needs a health bar and made targettable.

There are 2 options you can choose, and I choose the hard one. After doing all I can to kill the guy, even with dirty tricks like getting him stuck on asteroids, he just didn't die. But since there's a bonus for it, there must be a way to kill him, right? RIGHT? DON'T LIE TO ME GAME! But after I die and die, and my trust in the game began to waver, and I'm just about to give up, suddenly the Caretaker explodes Shocked

3. Research needs to explain somehow that it's going to go on even when the game's closed, and what does Paid Research means (give 10 k).

I accidentally discovered this one while going through the kickstarter. Nowhere in game is this mentioned whatsoever Sad

4. Need more missions where you have wingmans! Not the NPC's ones, but your auxillary bays ones!

Missions with wingmans is really my best gaming experience. Seeing all 4 of my tuned-up ships going into battle and tearing stuff up without my support just brings a tear to my eyes. I'm so proud of them Razz

Hey srulz, thanks for the feedback.

1) I'll try and add this at some point in the future.

2) I can make him targetable I suppose.

3) If you "inspect" (right click or Y on gamepad) the research buttons they will give you the info you are looking for.

4)We may add more of these missions when we start creating challenge mission packs, but we still have the MOBA mode to finish for now.

After playing a while, I'd say this is a huge priority. It often feels like you have gone down for no reason, although I'm sure that's not true. But that feeling is not something you want as part of game play. Also would help a lot when your learning the game.

Instant replay would be awesome, but as a programmer, I know that is a tall order.

Well if you only show what actually killed you then that might not be as useful. For example you get hit hard by something and then finished off by some dual photocasters. What you really want to know is what managed to hit you so damn hard that all your shields were gone instantly but then you only know that you got killed by photocasters. Seems to me like the best option would be a text log of what happened.

COMBAT LOG.TXT

It'd be sure nice to have this, but it'd take some time to get done... meaning that we won't have it until the game is past the testing.

Notes:
Capitalize notable events, like spawns and deaths
Every ability use and every ability hit, should be registered
Attacks proccing passives should list passives that are being applied.

I think one easier alternative would be to post the bindings of the ship that killed you (Maybe some large bosses/structures can be an exception).

I like that idea, could definitely add something like that to the Mission Failure screen in the future.
