Newest patch

So my friend has version 1.0.0.1, and im unable to play with him because GoG doesnt seem to have updated the patch on its site.

Is there any other way to skip gog's seemingly slow update process by manually patching from another source?

Well, this is a bit strange.

GoG finally put up the patch, but after i install it, my version stays at 1.0.0.0? I tried a few things and my version still hasnt changed.

Am i missing something here?

Same here. I posted on the GOG forum and unfortunately, they did indeed mess up the patch.

It does give the 1.0.0.1 game changes, but it still lists as 1.0.0.0 and so multiplayer still won't work.

Getting a Desura key from Paul will fix it. You won't lose your progress or plex when you reinstall the game. With that version, running the game from the desktop icon will auto-update it to the latest version, it seems like.
