Hey everyone! I'm new to Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages. The devs were kind enough to give me a review copy of the game. Just finished up a livestream where I gave my first impressions of the game and also played with the devs as well as a big fan of the game, EvilNinjaDude!

If anyone would like to check it out here is the link! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVhR8-RCw3M

Overall the game is really promising, and has a great level of polish and customization. I can't wait to see how the competitive multiplayer evolves!

If anyone ever wants to play multiplayer let me know!

Hi there! It's me. In the game I was piloting the R5F Pegasus, which made a good choice because of its stealth, its teamplay utility and because I could regulate its damage output, and make it a fair fight.

But it turns out I got a lot of FPS lag lately, especially in but not limited to the main menu. I closed all tabs except the stream, and opened the game, but I could hardly control the ship.

You did really well in the game; it took me a lot longer to figure out that the only way to go is forward Very Happy
Now Aratex, Syther and me are this forum's top pilots... when none of us are being limited by our PCs. You're always welcome to ask me to join a match, and probably the others too.

You appeared to have the all-access version, but are apparently not a kickstarter backer. Is that correct?

Glad to have you!

Nice to officially meet you! Thanks for stopping by the stream and joining in.

I've yet to figure out what all the different utilities and abilities do, but I'm definitely going to be messing around with them to get a feel for the different types of builds. I'd love to get a bit better and be able to stream again and actually know what I'm doing!

That's correct - TripleBTitles stumbled across my YouTube page and gave me a copy for review purposes. I probably should get my KickStart account activated and go back them though!

Ah, it's a little late for that... kickstarter's been done last year. I don't think reopening kickstarter works...
But hey, full copy is full copy. We can make use of it all the same.

If you have time, you can go to our wiki and click the links on the main page. Most of the general info is there.

It's gonna really get going once I finish my exams, in two months or so.

Welcome to the forums Selyp. Like the guys said, you did great considering how new to the game you are. Smile

Hey ninja, are you playing in fullscreen at a lower resolution? If so, I know why the title screen might be choppy, and I'm working on a fix. As for framerate in other places, I haven't made any major changes that should effect framerate too drastically, but I'll profile performance at some point to make sure nothing has popped up.

The title screen was laggy at the very beginning when I first started playing. Then I turned down all the quality settings. And disabled Mouse trail. Lo and behold, it now ran smoothly.

Until you guys decided to put in more Hi-fi stuff and wreck my PC.

Very Happy Just kidding, I know you aren't trying to kill it on purpose.

Hey guys,

I also made a more formal review type video - hope I touched on everything this game has to offer. Let me know what you think, I'd love to get some feedback if you take a look at it.
