Audio glitch
I've had a few problems recently with the audio in game.
For one, the music occasionally glitches or completely shuts off. The sound effect music remains, but nothing else.

The music does have some compression artifacts when it loops, some songs are more evident than others. However, the compression saves about 80mb of file size, so we figured it was worth it.
When you say sound effect music, do you mean the UI sounds?

Oh, I noticed that. One time, though, it sounded really awesome, since it sounded like there was MEANT to be a one-second hiatus right there in the middle, between the Intro and the main loop.Paul Dryere wrote:The music does have some compression artifacts when it loops, some songs are more evident than others.
Talking about the Stareater clip, in case you're wondering.

Yeah, I mean the UI sounds, i think.
But yeah, some times the music just switches off after a lag spike, or after the audio lagging.
It doesn't happen often, but I figured I'd tell you.
Once again, it could be my lack of graphics and audio cards.

Have you tried lowering audio quality in the options menu? The audio engine of the game, while optimized, can still effect performance, especially on CPUs with less than 4 cores.
